Instructions on booking air with TripActions

All Winners and Guests need to book their travel via TripActions.  You must complete your event registration and THEN you will receive an email invite to book flights for Circle of Excellence. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this email.  DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE EMAIL INVITATION.

EACH ATTENDEE MUST HAVE A UNIQUE EMAIL ADDRESS.  PLEASE DO NOT USE AN EPICOR EMPLOYEE EMAIL FOR YOUR GUEST.

Your email invite will look similar to the following and contain a link to use to access Trip Actions

Winners will need to create a profile using their Epicor email address if they haven't previously done so with TripActions.  All guests will need to create a profile using a unique email (not the winner’s email) address.   Both winner and guest are highly encouraged to download the TripActions app.  
When booking your flights, please add your guest to your reservation using the highlighted box below.  You will need to create a profile for your guest using a UNIQUE EMAIL ADDRESS.   This email address CANNOT be an Epicor email address. 

Please book your flights in and out of Mt. Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).  We will book the charter flights from Arusha Airport on your behalf.  The charter flights will be departing from Arusha Airport on July 23rd around 12:00pm.  Please book your flights to arrive no later than 9:30am on July 23rd.   It is an hour transfer time from JRO to Arusha Airport.  The charter flights from the Serengeti will depart in the afternoon (around 1:00pm) on July 26th and will fly back into Mt. Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).  Please plan your flights accordingly.  Epicor will pay for you to stay one night in Arusha on July 22nd if you cannot arrive by 9:30 am into JRO.   For your return home trip, please schedule your flight for no earlier than 3:00pm on July 26th.  

Please reach out with any questions.  If your guest has already traveled with Epicor and/or has a TripActions profile, please enter their name into the add one extra guest box and their profile should auto-populate. 

RETURNING HOME:  

To return to your home country – if a COVID-19 Tests is required, we will set up testing for you in Tanzania.  Once you have booked your travel, we will schedule a test for 1-3 days before traveling.   More details to follow.

Transportation in Tanzania

Transportations will be arranged for your arrival into JRO to either the Grand Melia Arusha or the Arusha Airport depending on your arrival flight.  

We will be chartering flights from Arusha (ARK) to Serengeti Airstrip.  We will provide transportation to ARK. 

 

Updated Luggage Information:  We are now Dash-8 aircraft and each person may have a checked bag up to 25kgs but MUST be soft-sided with no base or wheels etc.  You are also allowed to bring on one small carry-on, such as a handbag or small laptop bag.  There is VERY limited overhead compartments inside the aircraft so carry-ons must be small and lightweight.  

 

 

All transportation to the Four Seasons and game drives will be provided.  

Return trip will be the same Dash-8 traveling back to Kilimanjaro International Airport.  

Flight time is approximately 50 minutes.
