This session, presented by Adam Becker of Triad Manufacturing, covers how to design Kinetic screens that can be used for shop floor labor entry and approval processing. The interface allows production workers to enter real time labor information with only 3 scans or keyboard entries per transaction. The supervisor’s interface provides a comprehensive overview of their department’s labor records for the day, allowing them to edit and approve labor from multiple employees on one Kinetic screen. Slider pages are utilized as a clean interface for adding and updating labor records. A shift table on the dashboard displays break times and other shift details that are updated to match payroll. The presentation will cover Application Studio event logic, show how Epicor Functions are leveraged for validating user input, and review an integration with the company’s payroll provider using webhooks in Epicor Functions.
