Date & Time
Monday, August 4, 2025, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Description

Program Level: Beginner (Advanced content also provided in appendices)

This course is a great overview of Kinetic’s core toolset, including BPMs (Method Directives and Data Directives), Kinetic Functions, Auto-printing reports, BAQs, Trace Logging, User Codes and creating sequential numbering sequences. This would be an ideal course for a new Kinetic administrator to open their eyes to what’s possible with the toolset, or someone wanting to create more advanced workflows in their Kinetic system. This Kinetic Toolset session will focus on how to implement automated workflows to accomplish these types of tasks, and more. Do you want to ensure that "the proper process" (that some end users have challenges completing) is always completed perfectly, instead of not being able to trust that the entered information is correct? This session will focus on demonstrating how and when to use BPMs, BAQs, and Epicor Functions to accomplish these types of workflow tasks and more.

Cost: There is an additional $350 fee to attend this session.

Objectives:

  • Understand the Epicor BPM and Functions framework and when one approach may be a better option over another
  • How to trace the calls made when accessing the Kinetic system using an Internet browser to design and build process automation for inventory adjustment and label printing using a data directive BPM

Audience: System Administrator

Prerequisites: Basic Kinetic navigation
