Program Level: Advanced
This session combines two Extended Education sessions focused on Kinetic manufacturing.
In the first half, we focus on analyzing results from MRP and learning where the data originates from, how changes to
the various fields that influence MRP data results, and why it’s important. You will learn the difference between MRP
and Global Scheduling, and why you would choose infinite or finite scheduling when planning your shop floor. We will
analyze the suggested material to replenish inventory, fill sales orders, add to jobs, and review PO Suggestions.
In the second half, we focus on the Kinetic advanced manufacturing tools that will equip production and operations
leaders with the skills to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. You will gain experience managing co‑parts,
implementing Kanban for lean replenishment, splitting and batching jobs to meet dynamic production needs, and
using backflushing to automate material and labor transactions. You will use Job Entry, Method Tracker, Time Entry,
Kanban tools, and Data Collection to learn how to optimize production flow, reduce waste, and ensure accurate
costing and job control. You will learn how to confidently apply these tools to build responsive, efficient, and
data‑driven manufacturing processes within Epicor Kinetic.

♦ Work with Co-Parts; Split and batch jobs to improve production
♦ Understand the concept of backflushing labor and materials
♦ Understand Kanban Receipts, Multi-Job functionality, Concurrent Capacity, Daily Production Capacity
